Alang Alang keeps you approximate 10 degrees cooler underneath it. You can purchase the Alang Alang from us directly and install yourself or you can purchase a complete Pavilion Kit (see Bales).
Alang Alang - This is sold per lineal metre. Strips are 2.8 metres long.

We also custom make the ridge capping (Bugs) needed to complete you Thatched Roof.
As you can see from the photo - it is basically layer upon layer. You start from the bottom with your first strip then work your way up. Depending on how thick you want your roof, depends on how far apart you place each strip.
Once your roof is finished you can trim it for the neat look or leave it long and shaggy for another look. The decision is yours :-)
